Fiona Bailey was born and raised in Port Augusta and moved to Adelaide to study law at Flinders University. Her love of the north ensured her return and she joined Johnston Withers as a law clerk prior to her admission as a lawyer in 2016.

Throughout her studies and until her admission, Fiona gained experience in our Port Augusta, Whyalla and Adelaide offices. She provided extensive assistance to solicitors across many areas of law, including wills and estates, family, criminal, and commercial and property.

In addition to and complementing her background in law, Fiona studied an Arts degree, majoring in Political Studies. She was selected by her university for the South Australian Parliamentary Internship and interned for the Shadow Minister for Small Business at the time, notably submitting a report on how the State Government can support small business to enable sustainable employment opportunities.

Fiona has devoted a significant amount of her time to volunteering for various causes over the years and remains actively involved in her local community. She also has a wide understanding of the unique issues arising in the country and an unwavering commitment to providing those in rural and regional areas with easily accessible and quality legal services.

In her spare time, Fiona tries to tackle some of the many things she enjoys including a day at the races, reading, running, playing netball, hiking (especially in the Flinders Ranges), and spending time with her friends and family.
