Tim Weiss was admitted to practice in South Australia in 1996 and has practiced as a solicitor and barrister in country South Australia since then.
Tim began his legal career in 1996 in the Whyalla office of Johnston Withers when Nic Kernahan, who had opened the office in 1994, moved back to Adelaide.
Since then Tim has worked in a general legal practice at Mount Barker and for the Legal Services Commission in Whyalla practicing in criminal and family law.
Tim has practised in most areas of the law but principally in criminal, family, wills and estates, property, liquor licensing and civil disputes.
Tim’s most recent position before returning to work for Johnston Withers was as the manager of the Whyalla and Port Augusta offices of the Legal Services Commission where he practised exclusively in criminal law.
Tim’s principal interests when not in the office are raising a German shepherd puppy (now 12 months) and remote area travel.
