Country born and bred, Alex hails originally from the Fleurieu Peninsula and spent his later schooling years between the mid north and Adelaide. He started with Johnston Withers firm as a clerk in 2014, and was admitted to practice and appointed as a solicitor later that year.
After working in both our Adelaide and Clare offices, Alex is now based in our Port Augusta office. He has appeared in a number of regional Magistrates Courts, the District Court, the South Australian Supreme Court and the Federal Circuit Court of Australia.
As an integral part of our Port Augusta team, Alex handles a variety of matters, including criminal law, family law, commercial law, property law, employment law, injury claims, and wills and estates.
Alex enjoys working in general practice as it allows him to work in varying capacities and the challenges that come with it. He is a positive and energetic person with a strong client service ethic. Alex’s down-to-earth approach and expeditious manner is enthusiastically appreciated by both current and former clients.
A talented sportsman, Alex has had success as a player, coach and administrator in cricket, football and soccer. He’s also assisted a number of regional sporting organisations with disciplinary tribunal matters.
In 2017, new firearms laws came into effect in South Australia. Amongst other things, the new laws created new offences in relation to firearms.
