Timothy's experience

Like many in the Johnston Withers' team, Tim hails from the country. He grew up and spent his school years on a small farm at Yahl near Mount Gambier. Tim joined Johnston Withers in 2014, and, as the head of our litigation team, specialises in a broad range of commercial, estate and trust litigation.

Timothy's expertise

Tim has a particular interest in farming disputes, intellectual property, building and construction and corporate insolvency law and regularly appears in both the State and Federal Courts (as instructing solicitor and as Counsel).

Tim prides himself on his proactive approach to resolving disputes, and consistently strives to achieve practical and cost-effective outcomes for his clients.

Outside of Law

Tim has a strong passion for all types of sport, particularly football and basketball. He’s also a regular volunteer at the Roma Mitchell Community Legal Centre, providing free legal advisory services to the community.
