The appointments recognise their significant contribution to the firm and mark an important milestone in careers that have been built at Johnston Withers.
Having each spent more than eight years with Johnston Withers, Dominic and Anthony have progressed into leadership roles through their commitment to clients, their expertise in their respective fields, and their contribution to the firm’s growth and culture.
The appointments reflect Johnston Withers' long-standing commitment to developing talent from within and ensuring the firm remains well positioned to support clients and communities across South Australia for generations to come.
Managing Director Andrew Mitchard said the appointments recognised the outstanding contribution both lawyers had made to the firm.
"Dominic and Anthony represent the future of Johnston Withers. They are exceptional lawyers, respected leaders and people who genuinely care about achieving the best outcomes for their clients.
"Both have built their careers with Johnston Withers and embody the values that have shaped our firm for over 80 years.
"We are delighted to welcome them as Directors and look forward to the ongoing contribution they will make to the firm."
Dominic Nasone currently leads Johnston Withers' Workers' Compensation team and has exclusively practised in personal injury law throughout his legal career.
Known for his client-focused approach and expertise in complex compensation matters, Dominic was recently recognised as a Recommended Lawyer in the 2025 Doyle's Guide for Work Injury Compensation.
Nasone said he was honoured to take on the role.
"Johnston Withers has given me incredible opportunities throughout my career and I am proud to be taking this next step as a Director.
"I look forward to continuing to support our clients, mentor our team and help shape the future of the firm."
Anthony Mauriello leads the firm's Property team and specialises in property transactions, asset structuring, loans and security matters.
His appointment is particularly significant given his journey with the firm, having joined Johnston Withers as a law clerk in 2018 before progressing through the ranks to become Practice Leader and now Director.
Mauriello said he was grateful for the opportunity and excited for the future.
"Having started my legal career at Johnston Withers, it is incredibly rewarding to now join the Board as a Director.
"The firm has a proud history, a talented team and a genuine commitment to its clients and communities. I look forward to helping build on that foundation in the years ahead."
The appointments will take effect from 1 July 2026.
