Darcy has a degree in Law and International Studies together with a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice. He commenced with Johnston Withers as a law clerk in 2016 and then commenced practicing as a lawyer after his admission in 2017.
Darcy is interested in all areas of law, particularly Aboriginal, employment and criminal law. Darcy comes from an impressive legal heritage with his father, Andrew Collett, a Barrister and leading Australian Aboriginal law expert.
A passionate South Australian, Darcy has always maintained a strong connection to the country. He has enjoyed spending many holidays helping on the family vineyard in McLaren Vale.
Down to earth and relaxed, Darcy loves his footy and travelling both overseas and within Australia. Darcy is a dedicated ambassador and fundraiser for Brain Cancer Research and Awareness. He has completed the Ride for Rhonda (grueling bike ride from Melbourne to Adelaide) charity event that saw the everyday heroes raising over $100,000 for brain cancer research.
